4. Can’t Access Your Fundraiser Website at School or Work?
Why can’t I access my fundraiser website?
Schools and organizations often use network filters to protect students, staff, and internal systems. Because Sowzer may be unfamiliar to your organization’s IT department, your fundraiser website may be blocked as a precaution.
This does not necessarily indicate a problem with Sowzer or your fundraiser. It simply means the website may need to be reviewed and approved by your IT team before it can be accessed through the organization’s network.
How can I have the website unblocked?
Provide your internal IT department with the URL for your fundraiser. This is usually your school or organization’s name followed by .sowzer.com, such as schoolname.sowzer.com.
Ask your IT department to allow access to either:
- *.sowzer.com, which will permit access to all Sowzer fundraiser websites, or
- your specific fundraiser address, such as schoolname.sowzer.com.
Whenever possible, access should remain available permanently. At minimum, ask that your fundraiser website remain accessible for the full duration of your sale.
