Add Students

Use this option to assign unassigned students to a classroom. It opens a list of students who haven’t yet been placed in a class, allowing you to quickly select and add them to the appropriate group.

Need Help?

  1. Students in the Classroom – Displays the total number of students currently assigned to the classroom.
  2. Add Students – Click Add Students to begin assigning students to classrooms. See How to Add Students below for detailed instructions.
  3. Edit – Select Edit to update the teacher’s name. This will open a pop-up window for making changes.
  4. Remove From Class – Removes a student from the current classroom. Once removed, the student will return to the unassigned student roster and can be reassigned to a different class.
  5. Cancel – Discards any changes made since opening the screen.

  6. Save – Once all required fields are filled in and students have been added to the class, click or tap Save to commit your changes.
     

  TIPS:
Clicking the Add Students button opens a new page showing all unassigned students. To move a student to a different class, use Remove From Class, then assign them to the new classroom. For instructions on assigning students, see below.

Need Help?

  1. Search Bar – Allows you to search for a specific student by typing at least two letters of the student’s first name or the teacher name provided by parents.
  2. Select Students – Use the checkboxes to select as many or as few students as you'd like to assign to a classroom.

  3. Assign to Classroom – Once you've selected all the students you want to assign, click or tap the Assign to Classroom button. After assigning, you’ll return to the classroom screen. Be sure to click Save to complete the process.
